Security guards watching out for us in Guatemala as usual.....see mom, told you we were safe!=)

A parade for Saint Corpus Christy which happened right outside our window.

Most common type of transportation.

Mylon and Ashley!!!

Deciding what to do next.

Brennan doing what he does best! (self-portrait)

A normal Guatemalan meal. (Which we have had twice now)

Rooftop view from our house. Active vocano in the background.

Typical days work(across the street from our house).

Catholic Church near central park.

Street View.

The view inside the house from the roof.

Shopping at the outside market.
On Saturday we slept in and then went to the bank to exchange our US money for Quetzales, the Guatemalan currency. Then we headed for the market to experience the culture. After we went to the outside market we went to buy food for Sunday. It started to rain so we all (all 6 of us and our groceries) crammed into a "tuk tuk". Then we ate supper, and played a few games, then prepared ourselves for Sunday!

I am enjoying las fotos....oye... La Merced....Catholic Church? I think you need to check the name you published. Maybe a name that starts with "C". :)
Glad to see you made it safe. The pics are good. Sorry to hear you've only had two meals;)
Praying for the Lord's protection on this trip and His direction in your lives.
Love the pictures! Been thinking about you guys and praying for you.
You're doing a great job keeping us updated with the blog. I loved the pictures - they brought back many memories. Now we just want to read the funny stories :-). Hope things are going well.
Hey, Sarah. Hope you have a good time. STAY SAFE! Watch out for those cars backing up. Is the food good? The pic of it looked a little scary. I'll be looking forward to seeing your scrapbook when you get this trip done. Love ya, Lisa
